Lots of years ago , when I was still idealistic, I thought it should be better for “ the “ people in the third world “ if we spoke about “we” instead of them and us...
we are hungry
not they are hungry, those poor souls no WE are hungry
it was in my opinion better to make the problems of the world our problems.
